Recently, AMEX has introduced a new credit card targeting consumers who rather have cash rebates (like myself) over miles.

As the name of the card suggests, this card is all about cash rebates. Though the cash rebate of 1.5% is still less than that of the ANZ Travel Visa Signature which is effectively 2.5%. Do continue to read on because, AMEX is offering a whopping 5% cash rebates (inclusive of 1.5%) for the first 3 months, on up to $5000.00 of your purchases (including supplementary card spending)!

So if you are planning to purchase some big ticket items, wait for this card and make use of this offer!

After the 3 months of 5% cash rebate (or up to S$5000.00), you may keep this card in your vault as it is really useless after that.
